A conference on "Advanced Technologies in Intensive Care" was organized at the Guba District Central Hospital.

TƏBIB, the Azerbaijan Society of İntensivists and Anesthesiologists, and the Guba District Central Hospital jointly organized a conference on "Advanced Technologies in Intensive Care".

The event was attended by the founder of the Baku Pain Clinic, invasive algologist Zulfugar Yusifov, assistant of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Azerbaijan Medical University Namaz Ibrahimov, head of the Department of Resuscitation and Intensive Care of the Central Clinical Hospital Vugar Abdulkerimov, director of the Guba District Central Hospital Aliyar Sarvarov, intensivists-anesthesiologists of Sumgayit, Gusar, Siyazan District Central Hospitals, pediatricians, including gynecologists and neonatologists.

The event was opened by the Director of the Guba District Central Hospital Aliyar Sarvarov, and the Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the National Oncology Center Zahra Vazirova.

Then, the founder of the Baku Pain Clinic, invasive algologist Zulfugar Yusifov made presentations on "Use of ultrasound in the treatment of chronic pain", and Namaz Ibrahimov, assistant professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation of the Azerbaijan Medical University, made presentations on "How to choose infusion solutions".

The participants exchanged views and answered questions at the event.

After the theoretical part of the event, "master-classes" were held. The doctors and paramedical staff gained knowledge demonstrated by trainers on a simulator and a patient.
