Today, a meeting of the board of directors of the Azerbaijan Society of Resuscitators and Anesthesiologists (AzRAA) was held. At the meeting, a candidate for the post of president of the AzRAC for the next two years was nominated and elections were held. PhD Zahra Vezirova was unanimously elected as the new chairman of the AzRAС.

In 1991-1997, she studied at the Faculty of Medicine of the Azerbaijan Medical University.

In 1997-1998, she completed an internship in anesthesiology and resuscitation at the Scientific Center of Surgery named after M.A. Topchibashev.

In 1998-2001, she completed postgraduate studies at the Scientific Center of Surgery named after M.A. Topchibashev.

In 2001-2005, she worked as a resuscitator in the department of anesthesiology and intensive care of the Central Hospital of Oil Workers.

In 2005-2012, she worked as the head of the intensive care and resuscitation department of the Central Oil Workers Hospital.

From 2012 to the present, she has been working as the head of the intensive care department of the National Oncology Center.

Since 2006 - Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijan Toxicology Society.

Since 2012 - Member of IACMAС.

Head of the Educational and Simulation Center of the Baku branch of the Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov.

Published more than 40 scientific papers.
