On March 10-11, 2023, a training course on "Basic technologies of metabolic monitoring and nutritional support in a multidisciplinary clinic" was held at the Educational and Simulation Center of the Baku branch of the I.M. Sechenov BMTU.

The training was conducted by PhD, Associate Professor D.N. Uvarov (Head of the Department of Pain Symptoms Treatment, Arkhangelsk Oncology Dispensary, Russian Federation, Head of the Course "Ultrasound and Interventional Methods in the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Pain, Resuscitation and Anesthesiology" at the Arkhangelsk State Technical University).

Training program:

✔️Fundamentals of metabolism in critical conditions

✔️Algorithm for studying nutritional status

✔️Indications and contraindications for the use of enteral and parenteral nutrition.

The training was attended by anesthesiologists-resuscitators, neurologists and nutritionists. During the lectures, various clinical situations, issues of constructing an adequate nutritional scheme, assessing nutritional status, as well as choosing and correcting nutritional support tactics were discussed. Following the training, participants were awarded a DTT program certificate consisting of 10 points.
